Production Worker - 2nd shift

SUMMARY:

Responsible for producing product in a productive manner, delivering quality results. 

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visually inspect the product for any non- conforming areas, and set aside any non-conforming products
• Ensure adequate quantities of product are supplied to fill orders
• Maintain working knowledge of processing equipment operation, processing specifications, and labeling requirements
• Ensure clean, sanitary, and safe work practices, tools, and area
• Maintain knowledge of USDA and HACCP requirements
• Flexibility to do all jobs on the line through rotation
• Be willing to be cross trained within department to cover responsibilities if required
• Other duties as assigned/needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
• Have basic mathematical skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
•  Ability to work on production floor; a wet, cold, and loud environment 
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Previous food manufacturing experience a plus
