CNA 3p-11p

CNA: Perform the basic functions of resident care and carries out all assignments given by the Charge Nurse responsible for Unit, Supervisor or Director of Nursing. Aides' are accountable for all resident care he/she administers during his/her tour of duty and adheres to all standards of nursing care. Aides execute standards of nursing care in a conscientious and considerate manner. Functions as a member of the health care team and promotes and supports cohesiveness among co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Oral/Hygiene
• Am Care/Pm Care
• Make occupied and unoccupied bed
• Handle bedpans
• Assist resident to and from bathroom or bedside commode
• Positioning Resident
• Meet Resident nutritional needs
• Intake & Output
• Assist RN/LPN as needed
• Admission of Resident/Discharge
• Transfer of resident
• Practice safety measures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must Certified in the state of PA
• Must have 3 months of long term care experience
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent
• Good physical condition
• Genuine, caring interest in geriatric clients
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be a team player
