<p><strong>Job Objective</strong></p><p>Looking for a Senior Engineer Operations who will be responsible for managing Columbus Digital cloud Services Support Team. It is an Individual Contributor role to start with and with ample opportunity to grow in the organization.</p><p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s or master's degree </li> <li>10 - 12 Years of Infrastructure experience</li> </ul><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS</strong></p><ul> <li>10 to 12 Years of Total experience.</li> <li>Should have minimum of 6- 8 years’ work experience on Data Center Technologies VM Ware, Active Directory, Virtualization, Firewalls & IT Security Tools</li> <li>Should have good understanding of the ITIL Processes</li> <li>At least 2 years of Experience in leading a cross functional technical team which works on multiple technologies like Azure, Server management, Networking Security</li> <li>Thorough Understanding of Organizational requirements and adhering to them.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal & collaboration skills.</li> <li>Ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.</li> <li>Practical problem solving and trouble shooting skills.</li> <li>Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and</li> <li>technical personnel in high-stress situations.</li> <li>Must be highly motivated, results focused and act with a high sense of urgency.</li> <li>Results oriented with focus on success and achievement despite obstacles both within and outside of direct control.</li> </ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Individual contributor role who will be responsible</p><ul></ul><ul> <li>Managing the Day2 Day Cloud Services Operational activities.</li> <li>Own Incidents and their closure as per defined KPI’s/SLA’s</li> <li>Conduct Weekly Reviews with the team to track the Incident and Project SLA.’</li> <li>Driving the Monthly Operational reviews with Leadership teams</li> <li>Track and drive communications for Key Projects with various Technology towers (Infrastructure, Network, Security Operations Teams)</li> <li>Own Change Management and Major Incident Management Process</li> <li>Drive the MIM communications.</li> <li>Drive the Problem Management and RCA communications with the team and Leadership.</li> <li>Will be responsible for ensuring the compliance related tasks are tracked and taken to closure.</li> <li>Timely escalations</li> <li>Review of the Audit actions and come up with Action Plans</li> <li>Regular audit of the ITIL processes and update as needed.</li> <li>Ensuring the team is staffed as needed for support operations.</li> </ul><p><strong></strong>Should work with Leadership team on defining Future Road map and projects.</p><p>Escalation Management </p><p><strong></strong><strong>Develop Yourself and Columbus</strong><br></p><ul> <li>Keep up to date with changes/developments in the software and in industry best practices, through self-learning, training and research.</li> <li>Keep up to date with the development of the Digital offerings and all relevant associated products.</li> <li>Provide support to your peers, your project team and the wider Columbus team for your specific areas of expertise.</li> <li>Contribute to the continuous development of your team, the Company and the Group organization, through knowledge sharing.</li> <li>Ensure that the Columbus business culture and values, which are the basis for our success, are maintained and developed further.</li> <li>Display great team spirit & loyalty towards colleagues whilst maintaining a high-performance</li> </ul><p><strong>About Columbus.</strong></p><ul></ul><p>Columbus is a global IT services and consulting corporation with more than 2,200 employees serving our customers worldwide.
