Use information collected from a variety of computer network defense resources (including, but not limited to, intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs) to identify, analyze, and report events that occur or might occur within their environment.

Capabilities
- Ability to craft and leverage GENESIS fingerprints and associated tools to develop and exploit network infrastructure.
- Ability to leverage existing and emerging accesses to target collection gaps.
- Understanding of CNE capabilities and ability to leverage those capabilities against assigned targets
- Ability to analyze metadata configuration files
- Ability to leverage system engineering knowledge to identify data formats, database schemas and the data storage, processing, and constraints of systems
- Monitor target system modernization and and provide assessments on vulnerabilities and access opportunities.
- Ability to document and share analytic knowledge using commercial and proprietary tools
- Ability to develop scripting and automate analytics
- Ability to document analytic findings to include: design, implementation, and administration of systems according to DoD Architecture Framework Standards.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Thirteen (13) years of experience and an Associate's Degree in Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if programs contain a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas: algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (for example, calculus, discrete mathematics).
OR
- Eleven (11) years of experience and an Bachelor's Degree in Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if programs contain a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas: algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (for example, calculus, discrete mathematics).
OR
- Nine (9) years of experience and an Master's Degree in Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if programs contain a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas: algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (for example, calculus, discrete mathematics).
OR
- Seven (7) years of experience and an Doctorate Degree in Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if programs contain a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas: algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (for example, calculus, discrete mathematics).
Relevant Experience
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development/analysis. In addition, it may also include engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration. Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course) will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement (i.e., 24-week JCAC course will count as 6 months of experience).
- Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain the amount and type of coursework equivalent to a Computer Science (CS) major.
