Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 10000 bonus

Hastings Senior Health & Living, a top-rated 72-bed long-term care facility, is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Evening & Night LPNs to join our dedicated, compassionate team! We are also offering up to a $10,000 Bonus and scholarships and student loan repayment assistance. 

We are also hiring for On-Call!

Shifts (Full-Time & Part-Time)  

• Evening - 2:30pm-11:00pm ($1.25 Shift Diff.) 
• Night (NOC) - 10:30pm-7:00am ($1.50 Shift Diff.)

LPN responsibilities:

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.  
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Supervises work performed by TMAs and Nursing Aides.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

LPN skills and requirements:

• Must have a current MN LPN license and be in good standing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Skills in problem definition and resolution.
• Ability to focus all efforts toward quality resident care.
