The VP of Sales, Europe is responsible for driving attainment of the Company’s sales and strategic goals across the European and United Kingdom markets. This VP leads and evolves the sales organization, identifying and implementing key sales strategies, and supporting vital business alliances that will contribute to Axonify’s long term revenue growth.  This role works cross functionally, as a key interface to Marketing, to ensure marketing efforts are coordinated with aligned objectives and relevant to the EU/UK markets. The Vice President, Europe provides leadership, contributes effective management processes, drives the sales process, and helps build and develop the talents of the EU/UK team.

The impact you'll have:

  • Lead and coach a field sales team and partner with Marketing on campaigns to successfully execute the sales and revenue plan, and day-to-day management of the sales team including responsibility for performance management, recruitment, and development.
  • Provide onsite and virtual support to your team’s sales efforts; especially targeted on our expansion into enterprise sales efforts
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews of the UK/Europe sales team and report progress to senior leadership
  • Actively engage in and lead as needed in Sales Calls and Demonstrations
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when applicable. 
  • Work with the sales leadership team to create strategies and processes for driving new business across vertical segments
  • Provides management with frequent and accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility.
  • Guide organization wide efforts in driving market penetration in the verticals we serve
  • Partner with marketing to create and drive market specific programs and lead generation campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with the Vice President of Customer Success & Customer Sales to grow pipeline, and maturation strategies and execution plans for new geographies, products and market segments.
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure our offerings are on target and fulfill market needs

The things you bring:

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with at least 3-5 years at a sales leadership position. Previous experience with MEDDPICC will be a plus.
  • Experience building a sales infrastructure capable of scaling quarter to quarter revenue, while establishing detailed processes for pipeline management, forecasting, demand generation, and sales best practices
  • Experience hiring, coaching and retaining top talent as well as building and/or managing a top tier sales team
  • Experience selling SaaS software solutions to large enterprisesProven solution and complex selling skills of software solutions   
  • Strong process skills demonstrated by having implemented and embraced SFA systems
  • Proven track record in actively engaging via in-person and virtual meetings with senior leaders within prospect and client organizations and developing / maintaining active relationships with key organizations.
  • Proven coaching, mentoring and leadership skills, being a hands on manager of a small team, serving as Player/Coach.
  • Embraces sales training that builds a competitive advantage.
  • Strong understanding of how to cultivate key stakeholder relationships
  • Passionate about rapid development of market leading solutions
  • Advanced ability and experience to lead a multi-disciplined organization in a multi-location environment.

Work location:
