Our client is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting business growth, fostering community development, and advocating for the interests of businesses in the vibrant Miami Beach area. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team and help us achieve our mission.

Job Summary:
The Events and Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in executing a wide range of events and marketing initiatives that showcase our client and its members. This position requires a creative and organized individual with strong communication skills, a passion for event planning, and a flair for marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Event Planning and Execution:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including networking events, council meetings, signature annual events, etc.
    • Assist in coordinating event logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and guest registration.
    • Prepare event materials, including programs, name badges, and promotional materials.
    • Provide on-site support during events to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
  2. Marketing and Promotion:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote Chamber events and initiatives.
    • Assist in creating engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the Chamber's website.
    • Maintain and update the Chamber's event calendar and marketing materials.
    • Assist in tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
    • Support in the creation of promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and banners.
  3. Member Engagement:
    • Communicate with Chamber members to promote their involvement in events and marketing opportunities.
    • Assist in member recruitment and retention efforts.
  4. Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the Events and Marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining records.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or related roles is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic graphic design tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
