<p><strong>Job Title: </strong>Inventory Clerk    </p><p><strong>Location: </strong> London    </p><p><strong>Brand</strong>: Portico     </p><p><strong>Salary</strong>:  £32,000 OTE inclusive of commission and bonuses</p><p><strong>Hours: </strong> Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6.00pm, occasional Saturdays 10am-5pm</p><p><strong>About Portico:</strong>   </p><p>Portico are a London based estate agency who have been operating since 1818 and were acquired by the Leaders Romans Group in 2021. Combining our expert knowledge of the London property market, whilst maintaining our founding principles of integrity, approachability, and reliability, since our acquirement we have access to the wider LRG business and products, which allows us to broaden the services which we can offer our clients.   </p><p><strong>Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:</strong>   </p><p>Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience and an industry recognised qualification, but consideration will be given to candidates with enthusiasm, perseverance and who have excellent attention to detail. </p><p>The job involves visiting private rented homes and compiling reports on the condition. </p><p>The successful candidate should have a mature character, be computer literate with good organisation and time management skills. This is primarily a field-based role, and you will be working alone most of the time, so this is an opportunity for those who thrive on taking full responsibility for their work. Some office time is required to compile and amend inspection reports. <br> <br>The position is permanent and will provide an excellent career opportunity for the right candidate. A clean driving licence is required. Use of a Pool car is provided for Company business. </p><p><strong>Duties will include:</strong> </p><ul><li>Use software to describe property in detail, compiling an accurate report of the contents and condition of the property. </li><li>Take photos of the property internally and externally, highlighting any issues with the property. </li><li>Upload software-based reports, photographs, and descriptions on to a PC during office time. </li><li>Maintain Landlord and Tenant relationships. </li><li>Take meter readings if necessary. </li><li>Ensure property is secure and act as Keyholder/guardian of keys. </li><li>Related office based administrative duties. </li></ul><p><strong>Skills </strong><strong>required</strong>: </p><ul><li>A motivated team player.  </li><li>Highly organised.  </li><li>Attention to detail.  </li><li>An excellent communicator both verbal and written.  </li><li>Previous experience within customer service. </li></ul><p><strong>What we can offer you:</strong> </p><ul><li>Proven track record for career growth and advancement within the company </li><li>Market leading training and ongoing professional development </li><li>Supportive and collaborative team environment </li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong> </p><ul><li>Access to an Employee assistant programme including access to a virtual GP 24/7 and mental health first aiders. </li><li>Retail discounts.  </li><li>Generous holiday allowance, increasing by 1 day per year based on service up to an additional 5 days holiday per year. </li><li>Structured training &amp; support. </li></ul><p><strong>Portico as part of the Leaders Romans Group, are an equal opportunities employer </strong>and encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
