Critical Requirements:- Typical business analysis skills and experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – position involves regular teleconference participation and ongoing discussions with remote business stakeholders – ease of understanding verbal is critical
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card - although this is a consultant position, we want to be well positioned to convert to an FTE if there is exceptional performance and fit with FGL; there is no FTE approved for this position at this time and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to gain approval of an FTE in the future; however, we are looking for a candidate who would be interested in a longer term engagement or conversion to FTE if the opportunity presents itself
Bonus Points:- Experience/knowledge of the life insurance and annuity industry is a huge plus

- Work with customer documenting the processes
- Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via meetings, use cases, scenarios and other methods
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developer's/project team
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into details
- Create specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to developers and project team
- Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop test strategies and plans
- Perform functional system and data testing of enhancements including regression testing
- Ensures test scripts are documented, reported and tracked in the appropriate tools
- Identifies, develops and delivers training needed for implementation
Skills & Experience required for the job:- Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies
- Experience with and knowledge of waterfall & agile frameworks
- Advanced Business process and business analysis knowledge as well as Financial and Business acumen skills
- Knowledge of Financial services industry, technology and systems integration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent technical writing /documentation skills
- Business Analyst experience with windows-based and web-based applications in a software development environment
- Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
