With 197,000 employees, Huawei is committed to develop the future information society and build a Better Connected World.</p><p><strong>Huawei’s Nuremberg Research Center </strong>is responsible for Digital Power Advanced Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning.</p><p>The <strong>Huawei Automotive Electric Control Technology Laboratory</strong> will play an important role in the Huawei Digital Power Business Unit in the advanced electric drive control, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of automotive applications such as drivetrain, DC-AC inverter and fusion driving component, advanced AI/cloud technology, etc. As an employee you will be part of the HUAWEI Automotive R&D Competence Center in Nuremberg.</p><p>Now we are looking for a:</p><p><strong>Intern Function Safety Engineer for Vehicle Dynamics functions (m/f/d)</strong></p><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support in development of Hazard Analysis & Risk assessment for the Inhouse developed Functions in accordance to ISO 26262</li><li>Develop Simulation to calculate the Safety Margin and Fault tolerant time at various levels of the V Model using Fault Inject techniques using tools like D-space, etc.</li><li>Conduct Safety Analysis such as Fault tree analysis and Failure Mode Effective analysis to evaluate potential failure modes</li><li>Support in development of Function Safety related tools to automize the work products</li><li>From a technical point of view, exploit and conduct insight activities of using AI within Functions safety (ISO 26262)</li><li>Involve in tracking the latest Function safety achievements in the related fields through international conferences, publications and business exhibitions, etc.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Currently pursuing a Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or other related fields</li><li>Solid knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics and Control Theory</li><li>Solid knowledge of MATLAB, any other programming language like Simulink , IPG Carmaker and Python is a plus</li><li>Experience in Software Development </li><li>Basic Knowledge of AI / Machine learning</li><li>A positive team spirit, strong aptitude for learning and effective communication in English as a working language</li></ul><p>By applying to this position, you agree with our RECRUITMENT PRIVACY STATEMENT.
