- Teach a variety of group fitness classes
 - Able to work with individuals of differing ability levels
 - Create exercise plans for members as requested
 - Conduct facility orientations/tours
 - Teach members how to properly use equipment
 - Act as liaison between members and Exercise Specialists for trouble shooting
 - Greet members and provide necessary information to members when needed
 - Promote Fitness Center offerings within and outside of the Fitness Center
 - Perform other miscellaneous responsibilities as needed or assigned (i.e. equipment cleaning, locker room cleanliness/stock and other special events)
 
Quals--
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors in Exercise Science or equivalent degree preferred
 - Minimum 1 year group fitness instruction preferred
 - CPR/First Aid certification required
 - Group Fitness Instructor Certification relevant to the class being taught required
 - Knowledge of basic anatomy and kinesiology
 - Knowledge of instruction, safety, and exercise modifications
 - Superior communication and intrapersonal skills
 - Excellent customer relationship building skills and a strong people orientation
 - Exhibits consistent commitment to continuous quality improvement
 - Be self motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work independently
 - Must be punctual
 - Functional with MS Office Products (for PC): Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
 - Strong collaborative skills and a proven team orientation
 - Must be flexible and able to change tasks and priorities as needed
