Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Planning and Supply Chain to find alternate solutions to materials to maintain on time delivery.
- Workwith Quality for FAS review when needed for alternates or new items.
- Collaborate with Production and Manufacturing Engineering for pilot jobsduring implementation of new product changes.
- Assist Product Support in provide engineering solutions to customer field issues.
- Facilitate with Customer Service team on special project requirements to find solutions for the customer.
- Support production issues related to engineering design.
- Handle non-conforming material review requests from Supply Chain and Quality.
- Review vendor change requests and update design data when appropriate.
- Review supplier identified issues and determine resolution of materials.
- Implement product improvements across released product families.
- Create new finished good part numbers for customer orders.
- Use Infor to manage BOM changes related to product improvements and material availability.
- Work within SolidWorks to make design and drawing updates when necessary.

Required Education and Experience:
- Associate degree (technical) with mechanical/electrical experience
- 1+ years of experience in computer software (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Familiar with Bills of Materials.
- Basic experience with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Basic ERP software experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university
- Highly proficient with 2D, 3D, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Experience with Infor ERP software
