<p dir="ltr"><em>At Happy Socks we have made it our mission to spread happiness everywhere, and you only have to spend a few minutes with us to realize how seriously we take it!</em></p><p dir="ltr">We are looking for a methodical and analytical minded <strong>Warehouse & Transportation Manager</strong> responsible for the orderly and efficient operation of our 3PL warehouses and global outbound transportations, ensuring that budgets and commercial targets for the entire group are met. You will also play an important role in several development projects connected to Logistics and our ERP system, as well as making sure we are driving efficient and effective logistics processes in service of the end customer. </p><p dir="ltr">The right candidate for this role is a self-starter and analytical problem-solver, thriving on challenges and viewing them as opportunities to grow and innovate. We operate in a global end-to-end model with suppliers, warehouses and customers in Europe, Asia and North America which requires for this role to be successful a broad knowledge of how to operate cultural differences, legislation specifics and different operating standards primarily in the commercial supply chain. While you value working independently, you're also a team player who relishes collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders beyond company boundaries. </p><p dir="ltr">You will be based at our Stockholm office and the role reports to the Global Head of Supply in the Operations team. </p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Tasks & Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong></strong>Overall responsibility for the outbound service quality to Happy Socks customers including order fulfillment and transport. Ensure, together with the market specific operations representative, that B2B and B2C orders are delivered on time, according to the customer requirements and in full.</li><li>Overall responsible for a consistent and high-quality daily operation in our 3PL warehouses in The Netherlands, US, China and Sweden, as well as maintaining a solid governance structure including escalation routes</li><li>Lead, drive and monitor projects in the logistics function as well as cross functional initiatives, to drive global efficiency as well as process improvements and alignments</li><li>Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements</li><li>Support and work closely cross-functional with our Finance, Marketing and other Commercial teams on e.g. internal audits, accruals, stock takes, marketing initiatives and other projects</li><li>Own and monitor the integration between the ERP System and our global warehouses</li><li>Represent the logistics function in regular sustainability meetings and drive sustainability initiatives</li><li>Engage in discussions and negotiations with carriers & warehouses regarding costs & terms</li><li>Monitor transport and warehouse KPIs and costs including invoice approval</li></ul><p><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Requirements & Skills</strong></p><ul><li><strong></strong>7+ years’ experience in Logistics in a global setting</li><li>Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration</li><li>Fluency in English, both spoken and written</li><li>Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities</li><li>Record of successful distribution and logistics management</li><li>In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry</li><li>Experience working with 3PLs and transportation providers globally</li><li>Experience from working with an ERP system (Microsoft Business Central is a plus!)</li><li>Experience working with B2B in North America is meritorious</li><li>Experience of working with EDI connections</li></ul><p>Most importantly, you have the personality to fit a somewhat crazy, fun work environment where we believe in color and playfulness, a place where you can expect the unexpected and you are a source of creative weirdness. </p><p><em>We care a lot about Diversity at Happy Socks and would love to see a range of genders, ages and various backgrounds apply.</em></p> •
