Your role
As our Senior Cloud Engineer you will work to implement, maintain, and manage multiple cloud implementations for SustainCERT applications. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with cloud engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the availability, security, and reliability of cloud deployments.
Ideally you have a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure compute, storage and networking infrastructure and experience with cloud-based Windows applications on Azure. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.
Our team works primarily remotely, with most team members based in Luxembourg or Amsterdam. For this role, you should be based in Luxembourg.
Your key tasks
- Maintain and improve the SustainCERT production cloud.
- Troubleshoot issues and respond to support requests raised by End User and Engineers.
- Provide 2nd level support to the Engineering and Customer service teams.
- Develop and maintain CICD pipelines in Github Actions.
- Analyse technology and business requirements and design appropriate cloud native solutions.
- Review Security alerts and take remedial actions.
- Maintain uptime of systems and SLA as per company support policies.
You have these claims to fame
- At least 4+ years in a technical position.
- Desired degree in Computer Science, Certification in Microsoft Azure AZ-900, Microsoft AZ-104 will be an added advantage.
- Wide exposure on designing, implementing and operating complex systems primarily in Azure cloud.
- Maintain Azure Cloud Infrastructure in Efficient Configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, AzureAD, CI/CD pipelines, Azure services, support for users for access related questions.
- Strong hands-on expertise in diverse DevOps concepts / tools, especially on Azure DevOps, Pipelines, GitHub, GitHub actions.
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization technologies like Docker and Azure Container Registry, PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge on different monitoring and logging solutions available on Cloud.
- Ability to monitor and check the cost of services used/added etc.

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of networking, virtualization and cloud security.
- Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
