POSITION PROFILE.

Current is seeking a dynamic and motivated Copywriter to join our growing creative team. We are looking for someone with the right combination of big-idea thinking, resourcefulness, and artistic skill necessary to create, sell, and execute impactful ideas for our clients that capture the hearts and minds of consumers.

You will create buzzworthy social content and campaigns, brand activations, and innovative experiences that connect brands with culture. You are culture-obsessed and have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends. You are committed to honing your craft as a storyteller, understanding brand tone, and have a passion for spinning stories out of thin air.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Craft stories that drive earned media and build brand awareness through campaign-level thinking and execution.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, strategists, media specialists, and other team members to develop big ideas that spark conversation and engagement.
• Produce concepts, headlines, scripts, social posts, and various other forms of online and offline brand storytelling.
• Present ideas clearly and confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all creative adheres to existing brand guidelines and best practices.
• Wear multiple hats: There will be times when you will need to drive the creative process by playing multiple roles throughout the concepting and execution phases.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS.

 

• 2+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or related field (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content or public relations).
• Must be self-motivated, hardworking, well organized, thick skinned and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests and deliverables
• Ongoing drive to understand emerging techniques, trends and philosophies in marketing, technology, interaction and social media
