Financial Manager

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established Architectural firm in Stellenbosch, is currently seeking a Financial Manager to join their team. As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for analysing daily financial activities, providing advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans, and ensuring the company's financial health is maintained and improved.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Create and implement strategies to optimise the company's financial performance and reduce costs.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to upper management.
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure proper allocation of funds.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure they are aligned with company goals.
• Manage accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Previous experience in Architecture/Interior Design

• Professional certifications such as CA, CIMA and SAICA
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present financial information to stakeholders.
