Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and establish the scope and objectives of the project.
• Anticipate and allocate resources necessary to achieve project goals efficiently.
• Develop a budget based on the project scope and required resources.
• Monitor and control project expenses to stay within the budget.
• Create and maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Consistently update stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage vendor and supplier contracts by assigning tasks and setting clear expectations for deliverables.
• Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the project's execution.
• Track progress and make necessary adjustments to stay on course.
• Assess project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Comprehend building requirements and oversee all stages of project delivery from start to finish.

Requirements

• Years of Experience: 8 to 12 years
• Educational Requirements: National diploma as a minimum; a BSc or BTech is preferred.
• Professional Registration: Being professionally registered is advantageous.
• Type of Construction Experience: Experience in building, civil projects, or the retail petroleum industry is beneficial.
• Software Experience: Proficiency in MS Projects and MS Teams is required.
