Southern Security Title Services, Inc., an established leading provider of title insurance and settlement services to the real estate and mortgage industries is seeking individuals to join our team.
Job Summary:
Working with realtors, lenders, builders and private individuals to examine and organize all necessary documents needed to process a contract to closing. Must have the ability to balance the workload to accommodate demands of the job, and exceed customer expectations working with your team in a busy work environment.
Specific Knowledge:
- An understanding of title standards and basic understanding of title clearance.
- An understanding of lenders documents and recordings.
- Work to build strong relationships with local lenders, realtors, and builders.
- Knowledgeable in real estate regulations, guidelines, document preparation, CFPB and RESPA rules.
- Comprehensive understanding of pay off per diems & tax prorations, interest, hoa's, etc.
- Possess the skill set to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, to professionally communicate with customers.
- Ability to process a file from contract to close.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Closing Agent must have a track record of successful business relationships with a minimum of 3 years experience. State license preferred but not required. Background check will be required.
