Information Assurance (IA) Specialist - (Offsite)

Zantech is looking for an upcoming talented Information Assurance (IA) Specialist (offsite) who is responsible for ensuring operational security is maintained for government information systems. Needs to implement and enforce IA security policies within the system and to contract personnel, alert Contract PM of Government Employee of IA violations or vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

• Ensure development of system accreditation/certification documentation by reviewing and endorsing documentation and recommending action to the contract PM for action by the Government PM.
• Ensure system security requirements are addressed during all phases of the system life cycle management process.
• Provide clearly understandable audit trails and ensure their review.
• Implement the most feasible security safeguards and features are for the system.
• Ensure no testing occurs on the live site that could strain or test security mechanisms, or perform network line monitoring, or keystroke monitoring.

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

• IAM Level II certified by 6 months on job IAW DOD 8570 Approved Baseline Certifications
• Minimum of 2 years IA experience to include course work.
• Exceptional knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office Products.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
• Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• High business and technical aptitude to learn new applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work directly multiple contractor and government teams.
• Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.

Required Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
