That is why we are actively building a progressive, forward-thinking company culture... find more info at the 'benefits' section.</p><p></p><hr><p><strong>Your mission:</strong></p><p>You own the finance area at femtasy, bringing clarity to all financial processes and ensuring that the C-level, shareholders, and the team have a clear overview at all times.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li> <strong>Financial Management, Planning & Reporting</strong>: You monitor, plan, and optimize cash flow and provide regular reports to the C-level. You support financial planning and budgeting and create financial reports in close collaboration with the C-level.</li><li><strong>Accounting</strong>: You are responsible for all organizational and operational aspects of accounting and handle the execution of preparatory activities in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting. While the core bookkeeping tasks are managed by the external tax office, you oversee the process and ensure smooth cooperation.</li><li><strong>Monthly & Annual Financial Statements</strong>: Timely and accurate financial statements (according to HGB standards) are your responsibility. Together with the external tax office, you coordinate and review the preparation and execution of annual financial statements.</li><li><strong>Invoicing & Receivables Management</strong>: You manage the invoice log, execute payments, and monitor payment deadlines. You are also responsible for OPOS management, ensuring that all documents and invoices are complete and timely.</li><li><strong>Payroll/Accounting Coordination:</strong> You act as a liaison between various company departments to fulfill documentation requirements.</li><li><strong>Cost Control & Efficiency Improvements:</strong> You analyze ongoing costs and identify potential savings. By negotiating and implementing efficient tools and processes, you actively contribute to enhancing efficiency.</li><li><strong>Process Optimization</strong>: Through continuous improvement of financial processes, you create structures that streamline workflows, save time, and foster transparency.</li></ul><p><strong>Role specific requirements</strong></p><ul><li>At least 3-4 years of professional experience in Accounting and/or Controlling—experience in a startup and/or SaaS environment is a PLUS.</li><li>Successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Controlling, or a commercial training as a Financial Accountant or Tax Clerk.</li><li>Solid knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and tax law, with a strong command of relevant regulations and standards.</li><li>You are analytical, numbers-oriented, and possess the ability to understand business processes, identify problems, and develop solutions.</li><li>Experience with digital finance tools (e.g., DATEV Unternehmen Online, DATEV Accounting) and a willingness to adopt new digital solutions (such as Circula or Agicap).</li><li>Excellent communication skills in both German and English.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>🌟Impact & purpose</strong>.
