Product Solution Manager
Position Summary
Our company is a global leader of membrane separation solutions and is seeking an experienced, client-focused Product Solution Manager to drive overall product and solution lifecycle management, from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate will have proven capabilities in developing and implementing product and solution growth strategies and life cycle management based on in-depth understanding of client and market needs, compelling business cases, and a thorough understanding of the business' strategic objectives and the competitive environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who can guide cross-functional teams in the development and launch of new solutions that improve customer experience and grow market share. The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial, R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure that the product portfolio meets client's needs and aligns with overall growth strategy.
Essential Functions
As a key member of the Marketing and Commercial Teams, the primary responsibilities for the Product Solution Manager will be to:
- Develop and implement the long-term product and solution strategy for our company
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, positioning, strategic product roadmap development, and the launch of new solutions
- Lead and manage new product development through the Stage Gate Process through design, development, validation and launch to meet deliverables around timing, performance, revenue, and profitability
- Own product pricing and product margin improvement
- Design and develop detailed technical requirements and specifications documentation for all new product solutions
- Be the process owner for product warranty investigation and claims
- Provide internal and external technical training and support for new product solutions through validation and launch in the field
- Be the primary point of contact for newly launched offerings for value proposition and technical training
- Deliver continuous product improvements based on end-user feedback, and data analytics
- Work collaboratively across the organization to drive project management initiatives forward to meet timeline and revenue objectives
- Other duties as assigned
- Regularly scheduled travel is expected (~30%). It is anticipated that short-notice travel will occur from time to time. Most travel will be domestic, but the candidate must be able to travel internationally on occasion
Position Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years experience in a Product Management role for technical products or offerings in the B2B space
- Proven success in overseeing all components of the product development lifecycle including development of an overall strategic roadmap for an organization
- Demonstrated success in leading initiatives through Stage Gate Process (or similar innovation process) and launching new products/solutions that meet or exceed business objectives, including:
- Customer needs documentation
- Business case development
- Scale-up and validation activities coordination
- Product launch strategy
- Post launch follow-up
- Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to quickly understand the technical needs and opportunities in a given market segment and client site
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams without formal authority to achieve alignment, meet targets and ensure successful product launch
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative working skills
- Technical background with preference given to those with experience in membrane separations
- Capable of working relatively independently with minimal direction
- Bachelor's or advanced degree required in Engineering or equivalent scientific/technical field
- Project management
- Process experience in industrial membrane separations including day-to-day operations as well as the ability to understand upstream and downstream operations and their impact on the membrane system a plus
- Commercial experience a plus

The salary range for this position is $88,550 to $164,450. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, job-related knowledge, experience, and location. No relocation available.
