Location: 100% remote or onsite in Malvern, PA (partial onsite and partial remote) OR 100% remote
Duration of Contract Assignment: August 2023 - December 2023 with strong possibility of an extension
Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm Eastern Time (flexible to accommodate other times zones such as 7:00/7:30 - 3:00/3:00 pm Pacific Time or 8:00/8:30 - 4:00/4:30 Central Time)

Our client, who has an amazing working culture and collaborative team environment is looking for a Middleware Application Integration Analyst to help supporting a Migration to Cloud GCP/BA. This Analyst will be supporting a broad array of systems and projects across the company network, both internal IT teams (clinical, financial, billing) and external software vendors. This person will be working within an area that is the hub of IT Development and IT innovation. Any data and solution that touches and moves data to the company's business partners is supported by this team. Hence, this team is exposed to the latest and greatest technology stacks which is a fabulous opportunity to stay abreast of cutting edge technology. The work that this Analyst will be performing is not repeatable and hence, this job is very rewarding as it is not mundane. Responsibilities will include the following:

• Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, test plan development, test cases execution, and defect tracking.
• Review requirements and design documents with developers and project manager to confirm expected functionality with technical and business needs.
• Design, formulate, and optimize application test strategy, test scenarios, and test cases based on templates, agreed upon processes using a variety of sources ranging from well documented specifications to loosely defined requirements.
• Implement, evaluate, and document the developed test cases and scenarios.
• Determine test environment and test data requirements, often in concert with integrated systems' owners.
• Analyze various system integration transfer protocols such as Siebel, Oracle, SQL Server, FTP, TCP/IP, HTTPS .
• Communicate with leads regarding project readiness, status, and potential risks.
• Document, quantify, and elevate risks as appropriate.
• Provide statistical reporting and analysis, as necessary.
• Assimilate formal test results to Client and report any defects, errors, configuration issues, performance issues and interoperability flaws.
• Manage/Execute test plans, test scripts (system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing) utilizing Client Quality Center Testing Suite.
• Track and coordinate defect resolution and re-testing, quantifying and mitigating risk accordingly.
• Support testing on open source ESB technologies, service oriented architecture and related technologies.
• Test data transfers across various network protocols such as FTP and TCP/IP.
• Develop and provide insights into streamlining process and collaborate with business partners to ensure company's Mission and Core Values are fulfilled.

Primary Duties will Include the Following:

• Analyze test, debug, and document programs in middleware technology.
• Review requirements and design documents with developers and quality assurance manager to confirm expected functionality with technical and business needs.
• Implementation, evaluation, and documentation of the developed test cases and scenarios.
• Determine test environment and test data requirements, often in concert with integrated systems' owners.
• Must be able to communicate with leads regarding project readiness, status, and potential risks.
• Document, quantify, and elevate risks as appropriate.
• Provide statistical reporting and analysis.
• Assimilate information quickly, communicates complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
• Track and coordinate defect resolution and retesting, quantifying and mitigating risk accordingly.
• Enthusiastically collaborate with business partners to ensure company Mission and Core Values are fulfilled.
• Validate, analyze, and support customized healthcare system interfaces as well as providing level 3 support for associated interfaces.
• Research problems, test, train, and document best practices.
• Work with internal application partners and external vendors on interface engine specifications and qualifying desired interfaces.
• Compile documentation of program development and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent.

Required Technical Skills and Expertise:

• Experienced working with middleware platforms.
• Skilled in managing/executing test plans, test scripts (system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing) utilizing Client Quality Center Testing Suite.
• Expertise in designing, formulating and optimizing application test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases
• Top Must Have Skills:
  • Middleware Application Integration tool experience
  • Experience working with tools that connect to the database
  • Database experience (either SQL or Oracle ) including expertise on how to mine data
  • Strong passion for troubleshooting
  • Ability/flexibility to work within an Agile framework and be adaptable to changes
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Growth mindset - looking for an opportunity to expand and move to different technology stacks and looking to be cross-functional
  • Exposure to cloud and HTTP is preferred
  • Must have strong experience working with the Agile methodology
• Foundational experience with coding and how languages interact through tactical knowledge, rather than just the theoretical experience .
• Skilled in working with the Agile methodology including having experience in creating epic stories, user stories, tasks, project plan and estimates.
• Proven ability to analyze root cause of a problem and demonstrate good sense when handing the problem over to development.
• Skilled in working with Fuse ESB ( or equivalent - service based middleware app integration platform).
• Experience supporting testing on open source ESB technologies, service oriented architecture and related technologies.
• Informatica B2B ( or equivalent - file transfer middleware app integration platform).
• Familiarity with system integration transfer protocols such as Siebel, Oracle, SQL Server, FTP, TCP/IP, HTTPS.
• Expertise in intersystems ( or equivalent database to database - middleware app integration platform).
• Experience working with Denodo or equivalent data virtualization platform .
• Experience working with Kafka o r equivalent message broker system familiarit y.
