SupplyHouse.com, a rapidly growing e-commerce company in the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC space, is looking for a Area Manager overseeing the packing team to join our Ohio Fulfillment Center! Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 (annually)
Shift: Monday though Friday, from 11:00am - 7:30pm EST
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and assign work in partnership with supervisors and/or managers to address and resolve issues
- Train and coach associates on processes by providing feedback
- Assist managers and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements and production needs
- Assist managers and other individuals to ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and guidelines
- Assure the safety and security of team members and inventory
- Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures
- Monitor associate production standards and partner with team members to ensure SOP's are followed
- Execute other tasks as assigned to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance, safety, and all company rules, policies, and guidelines are met
Requirements:
- Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain, and logistics concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and follow process and standard procedures
