Set up Operator

We are currently looking for a Set up Operator on 1st Shift and 3er shift(8 hours) for our Fountain Inn, SC location, we offer Full-Time positions with Competitive Pay and Benefits to include 3 weeks of vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, generous 401k with employer match.

• 3er shift offers $1.50/hr shift premium

Position Summary:
Perform various manufacturing functions for microelectronic component manufacturing. Must be able to handle and work with extremely small and fragile materials. Manufacturing positions include but are not limited Sputtering, Dicing, Photolithography, Etching, Substrate Cleaning, Visual Inspection, Electrical Testing and Packaging. Troubleshooting abilities. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow manufacturing specifications and all safety procedures
• Perform various manufacturing functions for microelectronic component manufacturing.
• Most positions require use of a computer/touch screen pad.
• Some positions may require you to work in a clean room environment.
• Perform all functions associated with the operation of equipment within the department
• Train other operators in the setup and operation of equipment within the department
• Ensure proper manufacturing procedures are followed, adhere to all safety policies and procedures and quality regulations and standards
• Advanced mechanical aptitude
• Basic chemical handling
• Strong attention to detail
• Applied math and technical skills
• Advanced data entry and computer skills
• Maintain reliable attendance

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is Strongly Preferred
• Strong mechanical skills and experience
• Good vision/Ability to use a microscope
• Ability to stand for most of the shift
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to lift weight or exert force up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work with chemicals and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Good manual dexterity to handle small tools and/or small units
• Computer skills/Experience with touch-pad control preferred
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Experience in the operation of manufacturing equipment
• Experience supporting machinery.
• Due to export controls, U.S. person is required - U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
