Senior Trainer - Gurgaon & Hyderabad

Lakshya / keywords studios is looking for a Senior Trainer who takes care of all Technical Training needs, focused on 3D digital Game art which comprises of Environment content such as Buildings, Modular kit, Foliage, Vehicles, Weapons, Hard surface and Organic Props. and deliver highly potential and well skilled artists to the Production team.

Also, They are responsible for complete delivery of the training and they also need to guide/mentor Assistant Trainers and Lab Supervisors.

Requirements

A.      Technical Skills

1.       Good knowledge of industry standard software such as Maya, 3D Studio Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marmoset toolbag and Photoshop.

2.       Knowledge of additional software – such as Substance Designer, Marvelous Designer and Speed tree – as well as knowledge of how to create assets for / export assets to game engines such as Unreal Engine will be an added advantage.

3.       Good knowledge of 3D game asset creation process. Hands-on knowledge of how to effectively model and texture 3D assets under production conditions (within deadlines, conforming to client’s requirements etc.)

4.       Knowledge of how to effectively estimate, plan and supervise game art asset creation work.

5.       Overall experience of 7+ years with at least 3 years of experience in a 3D game or game art services company in an Artist or Senior Artist role.

6.       Some training experience is a big plus.

B.      Other Skills

1.       Ability to create, manage and prioritize the goals/tasks effectively.

2.       Strong Communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.

3.       Ability to effectively deliver Feedback and take feedback.

4.       Ability to deliver advance training skills to varied audience – students, candidates, faculties etc.

5.       Able to demonstrate and share knowledge with candidates effectively and enthuse them in learning process.

6.       Good people management skills especially conflicts.

7.       Basic content development skills to prepare content for 3D Digital Game Art.

8.       Smart and effective evaluation of candidates via assessments, assignments, interviews etc.

Responsibilities

1.      Work closely with the Master Trainer and Art Leadership at Lakshya/Keywords India to plan and conduct training for Artists.

2.       Create and update Training materials and Pedagogy regularly, keeping in line with current & future trends in 3D Game Art creation as well as Production needs.

3.       Train the trainers/candidates in 3D art assets tools, techniques and integration as per established pipelines in the Production teams meeting the industry specifications and quality requirements within the budgeted time and effort.

4.       Coaching & mentoring the Trainees during the training and ensuring they understand Production processes as well as Company culture.

5.       Help Master Trainer in creating analytics and progress reports for trainees.

6.       Assist Center Head in dealing with students grievances, behaviors and disciplinary matters.

7.       Work closely with Master trainer and Recruitment team in shortlisting and evaluation of candidates for academy batches.

8.       Participate in all other activities of L&D team at Lakshya/Keywords India, when called upon.
