•The project was going to be updating physician applications making them more user friendly and converting them to REST API's.

Details that we have been given before:
 
1. Will be working on various clinical system applications-New CWOW (Clinic without walls) application is being written in Java 8.  They also are rewriting the Legare application which is in Java 7.  This is a platform based application like Reddit and Facebook for Doctors. 
2. Need a strong, senior Java Developer with 8-9+ years experience.  Must be strong in Spring and Springboot. SPRING IS A MUST! Also needs to be strong in WebServices.  They will be "calling” not "writing” web services.  They use Hibernate as their webservice.
3.  Kafka and Elastic Search are both huge pluses.
4.  WCF is nice to have.

-We are seeking a Senior Java Developer who will be responsible for architecting, designing and developing the middle tier for a software as a service based application.
-Candidate will also be responsible for guiding and mentoring other junior Java developers.
 
8+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in managerial capacity leading development teams. (Team lead experience is a plus!)
 
Job Description:
-Design, develop and support various Clinical System Applications.
-Cooperate with the back end DB developers in the process of building the RESTful API.
-Communicate with external web services.
-Work with the Business Analysts to review and understand the business requirements and functional specifications. -Work with client and database developers.
-Participate in architecture, design and code reviews.
-Design and document using plantUML, MS Office, HTML, Wiki markup etc.
-Work with QA and CM team for code build/releases, test case design and defect resolution.
-Work with Team Lead/Project Manager/Architect for planning, estimation, documentation and status reporting
-Mentor other teammates on Java design and development.
-Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support
-Excellent communication skills.
-Be able to adapt and contribute to a fast paced and agile application development.
- Adhere to project schedules, proactively resolve and or escalate issue to management.
-Team Lead experience a plus.
-Healthcare experience a plus.
-Experience with working with offshore teams a plus.
 
Skills: 
-Highly skilled in Middle Tier Application architecture and design.
-Experience in developing applications with heavy transaction volume.
-Highly skilled in OO and heavy use of Design Patterns
 
Programming skills
-4+ years of Java, JavaScript, SQL, and XML development experience
-4+ years of Spring and Hibernate
- 2+ years of ActiveMQ
-2+ Years of Spring 4 and Spring Boot
-Understanding of Software Requirements
-Understanding of Software Development Process Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
-Strong Software Debugging skills
