Sr Systems Architect

Responsibilities:
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reporting and analysis.
- Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Deliver prototype reports, data visualizations, and data analysis products for management and business user feedback.
- Produce functional/technical specifications to be approved by Team Leader - Data Analytics & Reporting (EU) and users, delivering results on these specifications.
- Research software packages and data mining tools.
- Improve/automate existing manual reporting/analysis functions.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical input to management regarding industry standards and best practices, facilitating implementation of these standards and practices.
- Mentor and train junior employees on standards and practices.
- Work with management to expand the current data architecture and toolset.
- Ensure full compliance with all company policies, statutory and legal requirements, and all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Basic Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
- Basic Adobe Acrobat skills.
- Basic Database Design knowledge.
- Experience with Ecommerce Data Analytics.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.
- Experience with Azure Synapse and Azure Databricks or similar technology.
- Ability to extract data to reporting tools.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability and patience to work through a significant amount of data and deliver the data to supporting data analytic software.
- Ability to write comprehensive and accurate reports.
