<h4>MISSION</h4><p>We seek a detail-oriented and motivated Industrial Cost Controller with a background in accounting to join our team. In this role, you will support the cost control team in analyzing, monitoring and reporting on production costs, while also handling essential accounting tasks. You will work closely with various production, finance and procurement departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and provide financial insights that contribute to decision-making and budget planning. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for both cost management and accounting, who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic industrial environment. </p><h4>MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h4><ul><li>Monitor and analyse production costs to support budget adherence and cost efficiency</li><li>Participate in monthly and quarterly cost reviews, assisting in the preparation of detailed variance analysis reports for management</li><li>Maintain and update cost models to reflect changes in costs and volume</li><li>Support in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements across the production cycle.</li><li>Supervise and directly assist in the purchase-to-pay process, ensuring accurate cost allocation and data integrity</li><li>Manage the capital expenditure process and related closing tasks</li><li>Support the Accounting Manager in the preparation of monthly reporting and the annual financial statement</li><li>Maintain accounting controls and recommend process improvements</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul> <li>Completed commercial training in accounting (apprenticeship or commercial school) with solid accounting knowledge, or a similar level of education</li> <li>4-6 years of experience in a similar position</li> </ul><h4> <br>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</h4><ul> <li>Sound understanding of cost accounting principles and general accounting practices</li><li>Reliable and a strong work ethic;</li><li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;</li><li>Resistance to stress and time pressure;</li><li>Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement and innovative thinking</li><li>Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity;</li><li>Knowledge of Oracle is a significant advantage</li><li>Excellent MS Office user skills, and proficiency in Windows environment are expected;</li><li>Proficiency in spoken and written English and Italian is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.</li><li>Swiss or EU national or holder of a valid Swiss working permit.</li><p><br></p></ul> •
