Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Position:

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing historical data supply chain inputs across a wide-array of focus areas including freight analysis, demand planning, network optimization, and product costing. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. The successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact to our business by driving informed decision-making and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Develop and maintain accurate inventory demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical analysis.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and inventory management teams to gather input and insights to align demand plans with business objectives.
• Analyze freight costs and transportation efficiency, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
• Use data-driven logistics insights to recommend when to re-negotiate rates and optimize shipping methods.
• Conduct detailed product costing analysis to support pricing strategies and profitability assessments.
• Monitor and report on cost variances, and provide recommendations for cost control measures.
• Utilize advanced data analysis tools to interpret supply chain data and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and present to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the supply chain to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams in the development and execution of supply chain initiatives.
• Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure alignment on CHAMPRO core strategies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, finance, logistics, or operations management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL database, Visual Basic, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems, including demand planning and inventory management.
• Excellent hybrid work communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive knowledge of current supply chain principles, practices, and regulations.
