The Learning Lab’s internship gives top students the chance to gain an insight into the education sector and the corporate world. It provides an excellent sandwich period, during term breaks and before they continue with their tertiary studies in Singapore or overseas.

Who we look for

You are an intensely passionate educator who loves nurturing kids – not just the brightest but also the shy underdog. You will happily go out of your way to bring the best to your students and bring out the best in them. You are excited in gaining valuable experiences and teaching techniques through in-house training and working alongside passionate and experienced educators in the fields of English, Mathematics and Science.

In this role, you will

  • teach cover classes
  • plan, prepare and deliver lessons in accordance with TLL’s curriculum and teaching methods to ensure a high quality of students learning
  • plan and prepare appropriate teaching aids and resources
  • create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students
  • establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents
  • any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Snapshots of our ideal candidate

  • Diploma / A-Level / IB graduate with an excellent academic track record
  • Able to work 3 weekdays and both weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Able to commit from Nov 2023 to Jan 2024
  • Willing to travel between the various TLL centres for classes, as and when required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and classroom management skills
  • Positive attitude and a keen eye for detail
  • Thrives in a high-buzz work culture
  • Nurturing, possesses a natural affinity with children
  • A strong desire to inspire and groom the leaders of tomorrow
