This team is responsible for ingesting and processing large volumes of real-time financial data from exchanges and other sources. The role involves managing, optimising, and troubleshooting low-latency, high-performance systems that handle data feeds such as stock prices, FX rates, and other trading information. You will collaborate with the development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure the seamless operation of the market data infrastructure.</p><p dir="ltr"><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:<br></p><p dir="ltr">- Design, manage, and optimise infrastructure for real-time, low-latency systems that process high volumes of financial data.</p><p dir="ltr">- Monitor and ensure the reliability and performance of services in production environments.</p><p dir="ltr">- Lead efforts in refining, improving and developing new CI/CD pipelines.</p><p dir="ltr">- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Linux-based systems.</p><p dir="ltr">- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the infrastructure supports data ingestion and distribution SLAs at scale.</p><p dir="ltr">- Administer and maintain monitoring systems ensuring proactive monitoring of infrastructure and services.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong>:<br></p><p dir="ltr">- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.</p><p dir="ltr">- Strong experience with Linux systems (Debian), with a focus on performance tuning, real-time, and low-latency environments.</p><p dir="ltr">- Expertise in Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.</p><p dir="ltr">- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, and ArgoCD.</p><p dir="ltr">- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and application deployment.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>:<br></p><p dir="ltr">- Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python or Golang for building custom tools and automation.</p><p dir="ltr">- Hands-on experience with implementing Istio service mesh.</p><p dir="ltr">- Good understanding of distributed system concepts, architectural patterns and challenges.</p><p dir="ltr">- Solid knowledge of networking concepts and best practices for low-latency and high-performance systems.<br></p><p dir="ltr"><br></p><p dir="ltr">It’ll also be an advantage if you have experience in:</p><p dir="ltr">- Finance experience or knowledge of Trading</p><p dir="ltr">- Knowledge of TradingView 😁</p><p><br></p><h3 dir="ltr">Additional information</h3><p dir="ltr"><em>This is a hyrbid role based in our Central London Office located in The Shard, offering you the opportunity to work in a vibrant culture and enjoy an excellent quality of life.</em></p><p dir="ltr"><em>TradingView is an equal opportunity employer.
