Financial Controller - for a 4 Star Luxurious Hotel

Apt Resources is now looking for a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join a prestigious 4-star Luxury Hotel in Dubai. As a Financial Controller, you will manage all financial aspects of the property, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing cost control and revenue management. You will ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain strong internal controls. As Financial Controller, you will work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive the hotel's profitability and growth. Additionally, you will handle financial planning and analysis, manage inventory and assets, collaborate with other departments to align financial goals, ensure tax compliance, and identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis for senior management
• Coordinate and review budgets and forecasts
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial transactions
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue and profitability
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met and financial processes are streamlined

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller
• Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, CPA or CMA certification is a plus
• Proficiency in financial management software is required
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with different departments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Must be currently in UAE and available for a face-to-face interview
