We are looking for two motivated individuals to join the following teams based in Ghent.
The Publisher Activation (PUBA) team is dedicated to creating new integrations and tools that assist our customers, the publishers, in using our measurement technologies. To gather the necessary metrics for our measurement services, we directly integrate with the native browser APIs on the client-side. On the server side, we have multiple components that further process the requests initiated by our client-side scripts.
The DVOT team designs and implements our measurement and protection solutions. Integrated in the ad lifecycle the team is responsible for activation of selected services, collection of data events and enforcement of data-driven protection decisions. Components owned by the team are mature, battle tested and mission critical. They are used in production on a massive scale as we process billions of ads each day.
Our technology stack is diverse and state-of-the-art. GitLab facilitates our version control and collaboration, while the combination of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) ensures our updates and deployments are consistent and reliable. We leverage Grafana and Prometheus for real-time analytics and monitoring, and trust the Google Cloud Platform and Cloudflare for a robust, flexible, and secure infrastructure, primarily running serverless instances. Our data is securely housed in BigQuery and Databricks, and during development, we utilize testing and security tools like Snyk, Jest, and Playwright, with Github Copilot providing AI-powered assistance to enhance our development process.
As a Junior Software Engineer Intern, you will be involved in the day-to-day activities of our team, including standups, engineering discussions, and code reviews. You will collaborate on our existing projects and also have the opportunity to cover a project from start to end. This is a hands-on position where you will be expected to write code and solve complex problems. You will also be assigned a mentor who will guide you throughout your internship, providing a rich learning experience.
