IT Network Administrator

FAAC Technologies, world leader in access automation, parking systems and access control, counting on more than 53 sales companies in 29 countries, more than 3.700 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants is looking for an IT Network Administrator.

The successful candidate will monitor and maintain functional IT systems with a focus for our HQ plant but supporting also external worldwide branches. The candidate should have a good problem-solving attitude and a thorough knowledge of systems administration.

The position is based in our HQ in Zola Predosa (BO)

Responsibilities:

• Operation and configuration of computer networks
• Performance and security issues of IT systems
• Configuration of Microsoft systems
• Cooperation in securing IT systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access
• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
• Work with Firewall and switching devices
• Manage and coordinate Supplier activities
• Manage and coordinate remotely colleagues based in company branches
• Run regular and extraordinary maintenances (patching and upgrade of existing systems, configuration of new systems)

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in IT disciplines
• At least 5-6 years of experience gained in multinational companies or consultancy companies
• Mandatory experience with VoIP systems, preferably Cisco Call Manager.
• Mandatory knowledge of Network and transport protocols - (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.)
• Mandatory capabilities in Routing, Switching and Wireless Cisco Technologies
• Proactivity, results orientation and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Availability to travel abroad

Preferred qualifications (as a “nice to have”):

• Possession of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Basic knowledge and practical experience in Microsoft Azure/AWS
• Basic knowledge on Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory
• Knowledge on managing WAF / Reverse proxies (ideally Progress Kemp)
• Ability in daily operation and administration of Palo Alto Firewalls
• Any Microsoft Certifications
