Summary:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design and develop internal tools and programming to support our hardware manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for building applications and utilities to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and optimize manufacturing workflows. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Python, JavaScript, and C++ programming to handle a variety of tasks from data pipelines to device-level fixes.

 

This is a full time on-site role at our Juarez, MX location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with Azure infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and manage applications.
• Implement data storage solutions using MSSQL and Cosmos DB.
• Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Knowledge: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, including deployment and management of applications.
• Experience with MSSQL and Cosmos DB for database management.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
