The Position

The Business Development Executive position at Machinio.com is critical to the growth of the company. If you are fluent/proficient in CHINESE AND ENGLISH and based in Shanghai (required), are not scared of cold calling and developing new relationships, have interest in tech sales, are relentless, thrive in a competitive environment, and want to make an immediate impact, this role is a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing relationships from scratch with potential clients, business owners and C-level executives in APAC, and signing them on as members.
  • Acquiring customers and generating revenue for our core product, Machinio.com.
  • Complying with KPIs and goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Collaborating and strategizing with the Business Development team to improve aspects applicable to your role, as well as to the overall growth of the company.

Requirements:

  • Fluent/Native CHINESE and ENGLISH, REQUIRED.
  • Ability to go to our office at Longemont Yes Tower from Monday thru Friday.
  • Drive, motivation and proactiveness to LEARN
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in learning analytical and negotiation skills
  • Client-focused and problem-solving attitude

Compensation

  • Base salary
  • Generous commission structure

Our Interview Process:

  • Step 1 - Brief phone Interview with the Director of Operations to get to know you.
  • Step 2 - 1-hour Google Meets video interview with our Team Leads, to discuss the role further and conduct an evaluation (we openly discuss compensation in this step)!
  • Step 3 - 30min final interview with Vice President of Sales.

We're real employees with long tenures and institutional knowledge, and we work with and manage doing the job/team for which you're interviewing.
