IT Engineer

About the Role

As an IT Engineer at House Rx, your role is pivotal in maintaining the technological backbone of our organization. You'll be the go-to expert and facilitator for all things related to information technology, playing a crucial part in ensuring that our teams are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Your day-to-day activities will involve a dynamic mix of technical expertise and interpersonal communication. You will collaborate closely with various departments, understanding their unique IT needs and challenges. This role requires not only a deep understanding of various IT platforms and tools but also the ability to empathize with and support your colleagues in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

Core responsibilities

1. Platform & Application Administration: Oversee and support all Google Workspace services, as well as platforms including Okta, Dialpad, Slack, and Atlassian. Ensure optimal functionality, performance, and user satisfaction across all applications.
2. User Assistance & Hardware Support: Provide timely technical assistance to all employees, covering both hardware troubleshooting and software support. Manage hardware lifecycle, including configuration, shipping to customer locations, and mobile device management software (Kandji, Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
3. Documentation, Training & Onboarding: Maintain a robust IT knowledge base and conduct training sessions on best practices. Ensure smooth IT onboarding for new employees, from hardware setup to software guidance and scale onboarding by developing a new curriculum.
4. On-Call Support: Act as an on-call resource, addressing and resolving critical IT incidents outside of standard business hours, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.

About you

• Proven experience as an IT Engineer or similar role, showcasing your ability to architect, implement, and optimize diverse technological ecosystems such as Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Atlassian.
• With your robust analytical acumen, you demonstrate an ability to promptly identify and overcome intricate technical obstacles. Your skill in critical thinking underpins this ability, enabling efficient problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams and articulate complex ideas in a clear manner.
• You value teamwork and understand the importance of clear communication, especially in a remote-first environment.
• You have a foundational understanding of IT security principles and compliance requirements.

Salary Range:  $65,000 - $85,000

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary/wage. The actual base salary/wage will depend on several factors, including experience, knowledge, and skills. Actual compensation packages may include other elements equity, paid time off and benefits.
