Senior Engineer Systems Administrator (3-5 yrs)

<p>Role: Installing, configure and support Solaris and Linux based systems for MKS group companies</p><p> </p><p>Technical Skills: Independently install and maintain Solaris 11, Linux 6,7. Knowledgeable in TCP Networking, NFS, NTP, Backup &amp; Restore, applying OS &amp; Application Patches, basic system performance &amp; Nagios monitoring tools &amp; basic Scripting. </p><p> </p><p>Technology Areas: Solaris 11, Linux 6,7. </p><p>Oracle LDOM, Zones, Server T4-4, T7-1.</p><p> </p><p>Desirable: System Vulnerability checks &amp; Hardening Techniques</p><p> </p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Install the Solaris, Linux systems</p><p>• Patching and maintaining the systems</p><p>• Troubleshoot and report system and application issues. </p><p>• Support different development and user teams.</p><p>• Document all the process, solution implementation and resolutions.</p><p>• Flexibility to work on other standard system administration.</p> •
