As the Mental Health Specialist you will be responsible for sharing the underlying concepts necessary for recovery: hope, personal responsibility, education, self-advocacy, and support
This position will function both on-site in our Northeast Philadelphia office and within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with people who have experienced psychiatric symptoms to assist them discover their strengths
Empower people to feel the way they want to. Help make their lives the way they want them to be. Help them to achieve life goals
Provide activities, education, skill teaching, and opportunities on-site and in the community
Provide linkage to resources in the community to assist individuals
Provide outreach to individuals in crisis or in need of extra support
Assist in the evaluation and development of methods, curriculum, and materials.

The base pay for this position ranges from $38,000 to $40,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
