Founders in Residence at Atomic are hyper-focused and experienced entrepreneurs who take ideas from 0 to 1, working either solo or with other Founders to build the next billion-dollar company. Founders play the vital three-part role of 1) validating the concept to creation, 2) generating meaningful traction, and 3) building the founding team.

We are looking for a Founder in Residence to own a concept we are incubating in the enterprise sales space. While there have been a few ideas that we’ve been exploring, this FIR will take ownership over the discovery process and have the opportunity to define the vision for this company concept. 

This role can be based in San Francisco, Miami, NYC or remote across the United States. 

What you bring: 
- Expertise in the complex challenger sale; 10+ years experience building deep executive relationships across venture, technology, and consumer companies via sales, business development, partnerships, and/or strategy
- Unique perspective into sales organization and leadership, including inbound and outbound lead channels, territory management, incentive structures, committee buying processes, and deal contracting and negotiations 
- Experience defining new products and bringing them to market through customer discovery, internal vision alignment, product requirement / strategy definition, and launch planning 
- Leadership experience: team building + scaling, recruiting, strategic thinking

What You’ll Do - Nail it & Scale it: 
- Customer discovery - speak with dozens of sales leaders and sales reps to identify pain points and opportunities for improving operations and business results 
- Value Prop definition - develop hypotheses for products and solutions that would improve pain points and get feedback from the market on which we should pursue
- Pilot customer sales & success - pilot our solution with early customers by owning end-to-end relationship and value execution in order to “nail” the value proposition and fine-tune the sales motion in order to scale
- Product vision and roadmap - through the pilot engagement work, define the product roadmap and requirements that enable us to deliver value at scale as we launch to more customers 
- Customer acquisition - drive growth and adoption of the platform in the market overseeing both marketing and sales approach, doing it yourself hands-on and then building the team to drive growth goals
- Business model and pricing - determine and own the implementation of our pricing strategy, such as choosing between freemium SaaS (eg Notion) or premium executive focus (eg GLG). 
- Messaging and differentiation - determine the key brand strategy, including name, core messaging and value proposition
- Customer success - ensure that the customer’s needs are being met, that the value proposition is being realized and quantified as we scale
