Seeking to hire a Contractor based out of Brazil or Argentina for Senior-Level Product Design Services. 

Scope of Services:
  • This contractor will own end to end design experience (UX and visual design) of one of the product areas used by teachers and students for an educational product
  • Understand and articulate user and business problems, and propose a range of thoughtful and creative design solutions.
  • Execute designs based on a strong understanding of current UX/UI best practices and expertise using industry-standard design tools/programs, always ensuring accessibility considerations are addressed.
  • Create concept wireframes, prototypes for usability testing, and high-fidelity designs and documentation for handoff.
  • Partner closely with Design, Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Content, and Marketing to align on problems, define solutions, and ensure feasibility, by following user-centric product design principles.
Skills / Experience:
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working with complex user and business problems.
  • You understand feature requirements and tech constraints, and you’re able to distill complex requirements into simple, engaging, and scalable experiences.
  • You have demonstrated success in approaching design solutions holistically and thinking about the larger experience. You’re able to put together a clear user flow and communicate your vision with the team, no matter how complex it is technically.
  • You have a strong understanding of web and mobile-web platform technologies. You know how to use and expand a design system, how to collaborate with others and be consistent in your designs. You have high standards for UX and UI and a sharp attention to details
  • You are able to articulate and incorporate accessibility standards and guidelines into your work
  • You can leverage your knowledge of user pain points and goals, informed by research (quantitative and qualitative) to inform your design direction
  • You are open to both sharing and receiving actionable feedback from a cross-functional team and understand the value of working cross-functionally and have a collaborative mindset.
  • You can partner with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, Data, Content, and Marketing to define problems, align on solutions, and ensure feasibility through workshops to coordinate on process to soliciting feedback at all stages of the product life cycle.
  • You have extensive experience working in Figma (Experience with other programs such as Adobe CS is a plus)
Please note that given the nature of the contract, this role will not be eligible to participate in company-sponsored benefits.
