Description:Business Analyst We are now seeking a Business Analyst to work with a team to facilitate the development of strategic and tactical plans, leveraging process knowledge and data analytics to build business cases, identify risks and gaps in data, systems and initiate activities to close those gaps. The successful candidate will possess the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and support the business in leveraging data to positively transform their business.
Responsibilities: - Outstanding facilitation and communication skills with the ability to conceptualize, present, map and white board data/system features and concepts
- Data Analysis skills with technical mastery around manipulating data
- General Business Intelligence (BI) skills with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Cognos, SQL Server, SharePoint, and MS BI Stack and possess an understanding of KPIs
- Define business and functional requirements for new applications and reporting enhancements.
- Create screen/workflow designs, data requirements, reporting requirements, and use case documentation
- Work with business leadership to ensure quality and proficiency standards of reporting
Qualifications: - A College degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science / business systems / industrial engineering / operations research / supply chain management / finance or equivalent/related major
- MBA Desirable
- 5 + years of experience in a Data Analysis, Data Management
- Experience supporting Orthopedics Supply Chain initiatives is a plus
