Our Client, a manufacturing company located in South Burlington, VT is in need of an AEM Development Lead to work remotely for a 2.5 month contract. The AEM Development Lead will be supporting a project aiming to extend AEM to hold website frameworks for four our client's products. The AEM Development Lead will provide the template and frameworks to a third party agency so they can design the website.
Day to day tasks include: Conducting infrastructure reviews of existing AEM and documenting recommendations to make it optimal to host AEM sites; Multi-site configuration for our client's various brands; Dispatcher Cache Configuration; Development and Deployment Workflow; Point of Concept of our client's brand websites; Developing AEM Responsive Templates for the client's third party; Developing generic components and pages; Producing Technical Design Documentation; Assisting with DAM (Digital Asset Management) backlog (15% of the job) which will include bug fixes and enhancements.
Required Skills

8-10 years of software development experience in Java based Web Applications in an agile environment
5 years of experience working with content management technologies
Expertise in Adobe AEM Framework 6.2 or greater
Experience in a support time role for AEM DAM (Digital Asset Management) for bug fixes and enhancements
Deep knowledge of AEM Core components Sling, OSGI, JCR, Dispatcher
Experience designing content models, security models, workflows and templates
Experience developing AEM in a multi-site deployment for microsites or landing pages
Experience setting up AEM development (Eclipse or IDEA) and deployment practices with Maven, and Jenkins
Experience translating business requirements into AEM specific implementation specification
In-depth experience with UI technologies HTML, JSP, CSS and JavaScript
Must reside in the North East and able to travel to South Burlington, VT 10% of the time.
