Quality Assurance Specialist – Banking Software

Cibar Incorporated is a financial software development company founded in 1969. The position will focus on defining, managing, and supporting international trade finance workflow solutions for our domestic bank customers. The Cibar team provides continuous improvement and usability for the applications we offer, including first class support to our customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking software applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate the software's quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring thorough and accurate reporting.
• Work closely with the development team to facilitate prompt issue resolution and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in the software industry, with a focus on banking solutions.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, test case design, and test automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Preferred skills:
  • Knowledge of banking, finance and/or accounting processes or systems
  • SQL Database understanding – able to write simple queries
  • API
  • Azure DevOps

 

The initial training will consist of working most days in person, at our office, with a hybrid schedule in the future.

For Colorado applicants, compensation is based on qualifications and experience and may range from $65,000 - $80,000 annually.
