Semi-Kinetics is seeking an experienced AOI programmer/Operator and Flying Probe Programmer/Operator to join our Programming department team! We are looking for someone with at least 3 years' experience working in PCB assembly environment and the ability to adapt to new machines. Must have previous experiences with IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 as well as Microsoft office products, 2 years' experience working with Koh Young AOI, any 3D AOI and Programming / operating a Spea flying probe equipment. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Have Koh Young AOI or 3D AOI and/or Spea flying probe knowledge and experience Work with and operate AOI and a Spea flying probe Equipment Be able to Develop new programs efficiently Debug New and existing programs Install new programs and Initiate with Manufacturing Create data packages for both Koh Young or Spea programs Maintain the AOI and Spea systems to include back up programs and system, perform all preventative maintenance and schedule calibration yearly Ability to Perform all AOI functions, including programing and scanning products Communicate defects to responsible personnel Able to Identify the components on populated PCB and be able to read and interpret data sheets Review AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of component placement and solder joint defects Inspect populated PCBs and identify component misplacement and solder defects to IPC-A-610 / JSTD001 standards using a microscope if necessary Resolve program related issues as needed, including assisting off-line Machine Support and offline programming and debug.
3+ years of AOI programming experience. Knowledgeable and experienced in PCBA inspection. Proven proficiency with IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 standards. Basic programming skills for either AOI or Flying Probe. Associates Degree in Electronics if feasible Experience troubleshooting failed units to the component level if working with Flying Probe 3 years' experience testing and troubleshooting to the component level Advanced computer skills in MS Office, including Word and Excel Maintains quality control check to assure required component images meets or exceeds IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 requirements Gives immediate feedback to Engineering If AOI or Flying Probe shows processes are out of control Cleans and Maintains the AOI / Flying Probe equipment Maintains all inspection and test data as Quality record Communicate quality issues to the QC supervisor, SMT team, Managers and Engineers as needed. Implement changes & improvements of existing QA procedures and Systems. Support engineering activities related to quality improvement of products in compliance to customer's requirements as needed. Support internal quality audits and maintain documentation. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: At times other various duties may be requested to support both the company and our customers. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years of QC experience in PCB Assembly manufacturing, test and programming environment. Must have worked in an electronics, aerospace or semiconductor industry in the manufacturing or QA department Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes with in-depth understanding of PCB defect types. Must be familiar with the use of common electronic inspection tools such as magnifiers, microscopes, measurement calipers, multi-meters, etc. Knowledge of AOI, X-ray, flying probe and BGA is a must. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, checklists and Bill of Materials. Candidates should have knowledge of ISO 9001, Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 standards and Safety practices. Certified JSTD is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with and able to use as needed, MS Word, Excel and Outlook, knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
