Workday Compensation Consultant
CONTRACT to HIRE - pay rate should align to conversion salary
Job Purpose:
This job is responsible for providing daily administrator support and improvement efforts for Workday and additional HR Strategic Business applications, including configuration and ad-hoc reporting; supporting implementation of system upgrades; testing system enhancements, troubleshooting issues and documenting workflows; monitoring data logs and managing releases; providing ongoing technical support to Service Center employees; ad-hoc performance of quality audits This role will be involved in creating test cases and testing interfaces to various vendors and various systems within HCSC.
Job Responsibilities:
Project based role with 90% customer consulting; 10% system configuration & administration
Leader in RCA (Root Cause Analysis), options analysis, and estimations for initiatives
Lead over the Workday core functional modules, including implementation from design, testing, deployment, and support
Identify strategies, risks, options, recommend approaches, and mitigations to meet customer and functional requirements
Architect Workday modular solutions to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross-functional impacts are considered and mitigated
Advise customers on industry standards and leading practices
Acts as project management lead in moderate to highly complex initiatives
Demonstrate strong customer and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives
Demonstrate design optionsthrough the use ofprototyping
Owns relationship and coordinates with vendor for resolutions and enhancements
Partners with customers to strategize on best approach for integrating technology into current and future business processes
Provide status updates and apprised of overall project status
Provide guidance and feedback for peers including production support and escalations
Collaborate and progress development of peer and team knowledge
Understand and apply Workday and HCSC methodologies
Responsible for data integrity and stability of the HR Ecosystem and conforming to government regulations impacting HR systems and processes.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree +7 years experience in HR, IT or Cloud Based Solutions OR Associate degree +9 years experience in HR, IT, or Cloud Based Solutions OR 11 years experience in HR, IT, or Cloud Based Solutions
Project Management experience on highly complex projects
Strong prioritization, coordination, and delegation skills
Customer Consulting
Negotiation skills
Lead customer teams independently
Minimal oversight from management
Workday Certification in Core HCM, Core Compensation, and Advanced Compensation
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Experience with Workday and HRMS systems
Integrated Systems Solution Architect (spans across enterprise-wide systems)
Vendor Relationship
SCRUM/Agile methodology experience
