Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (DSA) is a world leader in Memory, Storage, System LSI, LED, and LCD technologies. The sales manager for Memory products at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. based in San Jose, California will be responsible for managing the sales activities supporting two specific customers’ business by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

  • Collaborate with key decision makers at customer to secure design wins and qualification slots on new consumer and network programs.
  • Capable of working cross-functionally managing NAND, HBM and DRAM-based products as required.
  • Create and align sales forecast and delivering monthly revenue goals.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer management meetings to provide support, address issues, communicate updates, and build strong relationships.
  • Negotiate quarterly business awards including pricing and supply support.
  • Support sales opportunities by providing product information, roadmap updates, product samples, and price quotations.
  • Maintain awareness of and communicate internally to Device Solutions America/Korea sales and marketing teams regarding major market trends, customer strategies, and competitive activity.
  • International business travel to Korea/Asia to support customer meetings as needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with DSK sales and marketing teams to resolve business issues, plan account strategies, and achieve revenue goals.

What You Bring

  • BS degree. BSEE or comparable engineering degree preferred.
  • 7-8+ years sales experience in semiconductor industry or related technical field.
  • Sales Experience with DRAM and NAND based products.
  • Travel to Korea for customer business reviews (2-3x per year).
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Key account management/coordination.
  • Familiarity with market and technology trends of consumer, mobile, XR, smart wearables, and network applications.
  • Familiarity with embedded memory and storage solutions.
  • Experience in cross functional environment to ensure team success.
  • You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range
$137,375$212,625 USD
