• Worked as a USI consultant in Oracle Retail - RPAS (Retail Predictive Application Server) solution.
• Understand business requirements and developing shell code, making config changes and patch in the environment.
• Worked in enhancement, maintenance and production support in Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) solution.
• Environment & Tools: Putty - UNIX, Shell scripting, RPAS config Tools(V-15), JIRA, SharePoint, agile, scrum.
• Creating and modifying measures, labels, rules and workbooks according to the standards and patching the config in RPAS domain.
• Made Config and script change to improve performance where workbook build timing is reduced from more than 1.30 hrs to 30 secs by aggregation method.
• Part of the change where data from single file loaded into 2 separate measures and where only one measure must be active at a time

• Development, Enhancement and Support for a US based project in RPAS (Retail Predictive Application Server) solutions such as Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF), Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Category Management and Item Planning (CATMIP).
• Understand requirements and developing shell code, debugging and troubleshooting.

• The system automatically sends the forecasts to other systems for replenishment.
• Forecasts produced by RDF enhance the retailer's supply-chain planning, allocation, and replenishment processes, which enables a profitable and customer-oriented approach to predicting and meeting product demand.
• Ultimately, RDF helps in getting the RIGHT product to the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time, enhancing customer experience through optimized in stocks, increasing Sales and Margin and rebalancing inventory carrying costs.

• Monitoring system/applications for uptime and performance and the interfaces supported by the applications also manage server &/or application availability.
• Data validation and adhere to SLAs for incident resolution, will do analysis and debug the issue.
• Developed several scripts to improve the performance of the system and automated many tasks which are manually done such as,
• Script to automatically identify store/location to purge in RDF Domain.
• Scripts to automate the transfer of files from upstream and to downstream systems., etc.

• The overall goal of the CatMIP implementation is to create a standardized and efficient toolset and business process for assortment and item planning across the Merchandise and Planning organization.

• Proactive monitoring and handling of job/process failures and other system incidents and investigate any data quality relates issues and identifying the root causes of the problems in the system.
• Implementation performance improvements and analyze incidents for performance improvement opportunities and automate and implement standard processes.
• Developed a script and config to receive new feed from other upstream systems and to load the instock, outstock and SKU flags feed to calculate its percentage to make user view it efficiently and improve instock, outstock.
• Developed various scripts to automate the file transfer to downstream systems and from upstream systems.
