About the Job:
The Development Tech Leader will play a critical role on the Development/Engineering team.
We're looking for a Development Tech Leader to work on our web-based online health care Platform. Our software combines the best elements of the web, video, and telephony to bring patients and health care providers together in innovative new ways.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement & deliver new functionality for various products
Engage in all aspects of release cycles including requirements review, work estimation, design, implementation and testing reviews.
In-charge of SCRUM processes and ceremonies.
Work with QA to understand and resolve defects, including Matrix management of QA's within the team (scrum).
Identify gaps in requirements or designs, and present options to address them.
Mentor and lead junior and mid-level engineers.
Provide technical strategic leadership to your respective team.
Provide last-line support to the Hosting and Professional Services teams responsible for helping our customers reach their goals.

Qualifications:

2+ years as Software TL - Java
5+ years of server-side Java development experience
Hands on experience with web applications that are live in production, serving a large amount of clients
Thorough knowledge of SQL & no SQL databases
+2 years of of Microservices, multitenancy/SaaS
Knowledge about cloud native technologies and CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible)
Experience building a responsive web applications and handling browser performance - an advantage
HTML/CSS experience DOM, CSS, Sass. SVG, cross browser compatibility an advantage
Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and shifting requirements
