Job Overview

The Sales Manager role will primarily focus on regular visits to prospective and existing customers to further build relationships and assist in after-sales to identify issues, concerns, or requests.

The role will require flexibility in working schedule and travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, review, and submit annual sales forecast
  • Review and update monthly sales forecasts and re-estimates
  • Update Pipedrive and submit weekly plan and results
  • Plan regular call/visit to prospective and existing customers
  • Research/records/checks on-going and future market activities
  • Regularly visit key customers to further build relationships and identify any issues, concerns, or requests
  • Maintain and update list of competitors, equipment population, major projects, and customers
  • Others as required by the General Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Must have at least 5 – 8 years of experience in heavy equipment sales or construction materials
  • Must have Engineering background and able to read technical drawings
  • Civil and Mechanical Engineering are both ideal.
  • Able to work under pressure and extended working hours as required to successfully meet customer’s demand
  • Able to handle hectic schedules and short notice to travel locally and abroad
  • Able to adapt and think outside of the box
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate

Job type: Permanent

Employment type: Full-time/Direct Employment

Schedule: Monday to Friday

8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Flexibility is required given the nature of the role)
